Free phone alert allowance: 5 external-alert batches in any rolling 24-hour period, shared across Discord, Telegram and Pushover. A batch can contain multiple studies and go to multiple enabled destinations. Browser notifications, local sounds and test alerts do not use this allowance.

Why StudyChime
Go beyond browser alerts.
Choose where an alert reaches you, filter the studies that matter to you and understand your own study activity.
Choose the studies that notify you
Premium filters let you set separate GBP and USD reward and hourly-rate thresholds, minimum places, and included or excluded keywords.
Save your routine
Save filters and alert schedules together in Premium profiles. Switch profiles as your availability changes, and customise your local alert sound.
Understand your study activity
Premium Study Trends shows locally observed study activity, pay and useful time patterns. Free Local Milestones tracks matched studies, successful alerts and verified monitoring time.
How it works
Both extensions need Prolific open.
Keep your signed-in Prolific studies page open. With StudyChime, the computer must stay awake and Chrome must remain running, even when alerts go to your phone. You can use other tabs while the studies page stays open.
You stay in control
StudyChime does not automatically refresh or reopen Prolific in the background, and does not accept, reserve, complete or submit studies. It does not ask for your Prolific password or use a private participant API.
External alerts go directly from your browser to the provider you configure. Read about permissions and privacy.
